The Hong Kong Canada Crosscurrents Project (港加交匯研究計畫)

RCL CHKL Director Jack Leong announced the five-year Hong Kong Canada Crosscurrents Project last week:

The project primarily aims to research and document a large flow of migrants between Canada and Hong Kong in the last 50 years (1962-2012) and to illustrate the how these interactions and migrations between have transformed both societies. Dr. Vivienne Poy has agreed to serve as the Chair of the Advisory Board for this project. Project partners include HKETO, University of British Columbia, the Simon Fraser University and the University of Hong Kong. The Ontario version of the project will be launched in 2014.
